The book covers the collection of more than 50 captioned, black & white and full-coloured sketches of the architecture of Venice accompanied by quotations from well-known authors and artists. The preface to the book describes the story of how the artworks came into being, and was developed in addition to information about the artwork methodology. A set of thumbnail illustrations of each of the 50 or so full artworks is included at the back of the book in the form of an index. The deluxe edition - which is limited to 200 copies - is numbered and signed by the artist and comes with a slipcase upholstered in a linen finish displying a design inspired by a 15th century Venetian fabric pattern. book-covering.
