DescriptionCigarette Poems can be described as a politically incorrect treatise on love, cigarettes, poetry and self-preservation. It is also a series of free form poems written around a relationship, creating an abstract narrative as the writer explores how he works, what inspires him, when he writes and what he is writing about at different times. The complete series of Cigarette Poems was first published in Billy Blue Magazine. It has since been illustrated with etchings by artist Adrian Lockhart and has been printed in two limited edition books for sale at Adrian’s exhibitions. This new edition, with drawings from Adrian’s sketchbooks, makes it easily accessible for the first time. |
