Sandro Veronesi was born in Prato, Italy in 1959. 'The Force of the Past', his seventh novel, won the Viareggio-Repaci Prize and the Campiello Prize and was a Zerilli-Marimo finalist. Sandro Veronesi now lives in Rome.
