Cheeta starred alongside Johnny Weissmuller in the Tarzan movies of the 30s and went on to have a long and successful career in the movies until retiring in 1967. He now lives in the C.H.E.E.T.A. Primate Foundation in Palm Springs, California, where he is looked after by his carer Dan Westfall. At 75 years old, he holds the record as the World's Oldest Chimpanzee.
