Ross Collins is a multi-award-winning author/illustrator with numerous children's books to his name. On graduating from Glasgow School of Art in 1994, he won the Macmillan Prize for The Sea Hole. He was shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal in 2007. Doodleday is his first title for Gullane Children's Books. Ross lives in Glasgow.
