Imperium Romanum is Austrian photographer Alfred Seiland's most impressive body of work to date. Over the past decade, Seiland has been in search of ancient Rome, which led him to travel to regions around the Mediterranean. The result is a series of stunning, panoramic photographs depicting the architectural legacy of the former Roman Empire discovered at sites such as Agrigento, Palmyra, Rome, Masada, Hadrian, and Hadrian's Wall.
